Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change the certificate serial number format?

You can change the serial prefix from the plugin settings.

The serial number structure remains:

PREFIX-SLUG-NUMBER

The numeric portion automatically increments separately for each course.

Can I delete a course that already has certificates?

Yes. Existing certificates remain valid after the course is deleted.
However, the deleted course will no longer appear in course filters.

Can I use the plugin on multiple websites?

Each license can be activated on one domain.
Additional websites require separate licenses.

Is student data stored securely?

Certificate and student data is stored in your own WordPress database.

Student information is not sent to external servers except where required
for license validation.

Can I export certificate data?

Export functionality is not available in version 1.x.

Export support is planned for a future version.

The verification widget appears blank after clicking Verify. What should I do?

First, confirm that the Lottie script is loading correctly.

Then check the configured Lottie JSON URLs under the plugin settings.

Certificate verification can still work without Lottie animations.
If the animation cannot be loaded, only the animation area will remain empty.
