9. FAQ

Can I change the serial number format?

You can change the prefix from Settings.

The structure always remains:

PREFIX-SLUG-NUMBER

The number auto-increments separately for each course.

Can I delete a course that already has certificates?

Yes.

Existing certificates remain valid, but the course name will no longer appear in filters.

Can I use this plugin on multiple websites?

Each license works on one domain only.

Additional websites require additional licenses.

Is student data stored securely?

Yes.

All data is stored inside your own WordPress database.

No student information is sent to external servers except for license validation.

Can I export certificate data?

Not in version 1.x.

Export functionality is planned for a future update.

The verification widget appears blank after clicking Verify

Make sure the Lottie script is loaded correctly.

Check the Lottie JSON URLs in Settings.

The verification widget still works without Lottie animations — only the animation area will remain empty.
